Product Description

With the new Blade® CX you get a completely assembled and ready to fly micro heli with a coaxial counter-rotating head design that is so stable almost any first-time flyer can be hovering like a pro in no time. The Blade CX offers things other similarly designed micro helis can’t – the power and precision of E-Flite S75 servos, an advanced 4-in-1 controller, and a great looking, lightweight body that really stands out. The Blade CX features counter-rotating main blades that cancel out the rotational torque that makes hovering a challenge in conventional helis. They also make rudder turns much easier by slowing down one or the other blade without affecting the stability of the aircraft. This is truly a helicopter that most anyone can fly.

Cheap Junk 1
I have both this and the Blade CP and neither work as advertised.
I never got them more than a few feet off the ground with any control, they seem to go where they want, not where you want.
They are supposed to be biginner's models but are extremely fragile. They won't survive even a mild crash such as dropping a few feet. You can't learn if you can't try more than once.

easy to crash, easy to break, hard to adjust 1
i just got this, read the manual, and tried a number of test flights. i am having a lot of fun trying to repair it and make it work but it certainly is not "easy to fly" or "stable" as advertised.

out of the box the battery did not slide in the battery holder correctly. once in the velcro that was to hold it in peeled away from where it was glued. the whole thing feels loose; the landing gear are pressed into holes and like to slide back out again.

it seems cheaply made. top stabilizer flybar does not stick in, falls off the top at the slightest jiggle. the wire it is made of bends at the slightest impact and is impossible to straighten. blades nicked an object and partially shattered. one mildly hard landing snapped the end off one of the landing gear. another hard landing snapped the battery holder.

it does not want to hover, it wants to circle in a lazy two-foot radius. the trim adjustment is inside the cowling and hard to access when the unit is assembled. sometimes the trim works, sometimes it does nothing. even once it is adjusted correctly it will not stay in adjustment and the next flight will have another twist or list; or during the same flight when the batteries run down a bit the heli will spin in the other direction.

i'm not very impressed. but it is fun to try to bend it, glue it, tape it, and fabricate new parts for it, and try to make it fly right.

Waste of Money 1
Gave this heli to my 30 year old son on his birthday. It was supposed to be easy to fly. It rolled over and crashed inches off the ground on its maiden flight, spewing propeller parts everywhere. With all retailers out of replacement parts it may never fly. If you buy this heli, don't buy it through the mail or online but from a local dealer with parts and expertise to help you get it back together.

Great First Helicopter 4
I bought this toy and was flying alone in two hours
it is a great first heli and very easy to set up.
BUT here is always a BUT... read the manual completely
as proper setting is a must for easy flying.
ALSO A CAVEAT the AMAZON page says it is beter to buy the BCP
crash kit, I did so and IT IS A MISTAKE
THIS KIT IS NOT FOR THIS HELICOPTER:

Other than that I greatly recomend it

Dissapointing. 2
The helicopter is average even for the affordable price. However the charging system design is very poor. After just two charges, the charger never recognized the battery again. The indicator light showed no battery connected. We didn't bother contacting the mfg we just put it in the closet and wrote it off as a cheap product.

Also, it was too cheap looking to put on a shelf as a model.
